Tennis Hosts Mean Green Invite – University of North Texas Athletics – Mean Green Sports

DENTON — The North Texas tennis team hosts the Mean Green Invite Friday through Sunday at Waranch Tennis Complex.

Along with three Mean Green tennis matches over the three-day invite, UNT will have free food, games and even a kids clinic Saturday afternoon. 

“We are looking forward to a great weekend of tennis to wrap up our fall season,” said head coach Sujay Lama. “It’s going to be a festive atmosphere and a fun event for the community as well.”

UNT welcomes UT Arlington, UTEP and Liberty to Denton this weekend. The invite is a blind draw and features every team play each other once each day. 

FRIDAY
Noon CT: UTA vs. Liberty
4 p.m. CT: UNT vs. UTEP

SATURDAY
Noon CT: UTA vs. UTEP
3 p.m. CT: UNT vs. Liberty

SUNDAY
10 A.M. CT: Liberty vs. UTEP
2 p.m. CT: UNT vs. UTA 

The kids clinic will be Saturday after the completion of the Mean Green’s 3 p.m. CT match. 

“Our team is super duper excited to play in front our fans, friends and family,” Lama said.
